    It is well made and it does take the edge off the bonesIt is well made and it does take the edge off the bones -- the cover can be taken off. My wife loves it and rows an hour without discomfort. She said she felt pretty uncomfortable after an hour before getting the cushion. It does not work 100% for me -- after 1 1/2 hours my seat starts to feel a little uncomfortable, but the cushion helps a lot. Spilled a glass of water on it and the water did not soak through the cover to the foam. The cover material does not feel hot when rowing.5Nice, but not enough padding for meIt's a good cushion, and it's better than the skinny one Concept2 sells, but on long erg sessions I found it wasn't quite think enough, as I have very little personal "padding", so I bought their thicker model: Rowing Machine Seat Cushion (MODEL B) that perfectly fits Concept 2 with THICKER Memory Foam, Washable Cover, and Straps- Also works great with Exercise Recumbent Stationary Bike and I hope it works out 4Oh sweet relief!My husband and I have been using our Concept 2 rower for several years now, but not getting full benefit of the rower because our behinds would hurt (ouch!) and it impacted how long we could row. We tried using a pillow, and well, it just slid all over and eventually flattened. So that was a bust. We did a search of the various seat cushion options and were led to this product based on the excellent reviews. We were initially concerned it might be too thick but decided to go ahead and purchase. Our expectations have been exceeded! The thickness of the cushion is perfect! The cushion also does not slip, but instead stays securely in place while rowing. Our butts thank you! Oh, and the seller even emailed us a Rowing Guide pdf document with rowing techniques and a rowing workout. Wow- that was a nice bonus! We highly recommend this cushion AND this seller! 5Hopeful, but ultimately disappointed!!Keep the packaging...you ll want to return it!!I am a 135 lb female and row 45 minutes a day. The first 10 days of use the pad kept me comfortable even though it flattened out a bit. Each day I used the pad the foam compressed more and quicker until it became really thin within 10 minutes of rowing. Now I am back to my butt hurting as if I had little or no support within 15 minutes of rowing. Sadly, this cushion is a fail for me after owning it for less than 30 days. Pros: It stays on the Concert 2 without slipping off while in use. Cons: It doesn t provide long term support and ultimately fails to do the job. Not worth the $35. 1A necessity for long distance rows!This seat provides ample cushioning for long row or erg sessions. It doesn't lose it's effect and maintains a nice balance between the seat and my 'sit bones.' I've used this on both my Concept 2 erg and my Hudson rowing shell and it works equally well. I normally row/erg at least 10 meters [1k] and as I've aged, I've noticed that I'm prone to pressure points and even an abrasion now 'n then. There are a group of us that discovered this pad and we're all using it at our rowing club. Some folks have hip/joint issues and they've indicated that this makes all the difference, helping them maintain contact with their seat without any pain to their hip joint during long rows. Others have stated that it makes rowing long distances far more pleasant. As for me, I'm a lightweight and it has helped me keep my focus on my stroke, rather than focusing on the discomfort that can come with rowing long distances. Finally, several of us have noticed that despite the cushioning, it doesn't elevate us too much, so we're not off center in the boat.Honestly, for me and my rowing companions, this is a great product and has truly made difference both on and off the water. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another and may do just that--keeping one on my erg and the other in my boat. Definitely worth the price. Lightweight, not too large to stuff into my rowing bag, and easy to keep clean [just wipe with a damp cloth]. This makes those long rows a pleasure!Rowing Machine Seat Cushion that perfectly fits Concept 2 with Thick Memory Foam and Washable Cover 5Comfortable, doesn't slip, a mustI bought this for my husband who was inspired to complete a marathon row (on a Concept2) after watching the athletes at the 2018 CrossFit Games. He rowed a 5000m and 10000m without a cushion and knew he needed one after those two rows. This is the one he picked out, and he absolutely loves it. He's up to a half marathon now, loves that it doesn't slip, and loves that the outer cover is washable while the cushion part can be easily wiped down, which is significant since he lets his training partner use it, too. Well priced and well worth it! 5The BEST seat cushion EVER!!This seat pad lets me exercise in comfort with it's memory foam material and also provides relief to my lower back when I use the Concept 2 erg (especially for a long row). Out of all the seat pads I've used, this is the only one that feels good to sit on! A+ would strongly recommend for all Concept 2 users. 5Excellent!Quick review. I purchased this for my Concept 2 Rower. I had injured my coccyx last August and had not really been able to row since then. Tried another cushion sold here on Amazon and while it was good, it was a bit too big for the rower - designed more for a chair or automobile seat. The 2K Fit is smaller and sized perfectly for the rower. I was able to row very comfortably despite the injury. I would recommend this for anyone, injured or not, as it is quite a step above the hard seat that comes standard on the rower. 5Its is piece of comfortable foam with a cover that can be removedIts is piece of comfortable foam with a cover that can be removed. If you have access to a nice piece of foam, then I recommend that you save your money.3Perfect solution for a hard rowing seat.My husband had almost quit using our rower because it was such a pain in the rear. I found this 2K Fit online and decided to give it a try. The cushion is thick and very well made. You just place the cushion on the rower seat and row! I wonder how it would possibly stay in place without moving during the rowing process, but it actually does! No more sore behind! Yay!5Bought it for really long workouts; keeping it on for all of them.Excellent product. I spend about 8-10 hours on my Concept2 per week and usually only notice the seat on workouts that exceed 15,000 meters. When I do notice, it is not pleasant, to say the least. I'm working on doing half-marathons (21,097 meters) each week leading up to full marathon length rows mixed in every few weeks. I knew I had to get something for those longer ones because it isn't any fun having your rear end go numb (best case) or start really hurting (worst case) on those longer workouts.This cushion works very well at taking the pressure off on those long workouts. I am keeping it on the seat so I am always at the same height (it does raise you up a bit so the geometry does change a little) regardless of what workout I am doing. 5Your Cheeks Will Cheer!I got this a few months ago and wanted to fully test it out by using it while rowing a full marathon on my Concept2 rower, before reviewing. I rowed my first marathon before purchasing this cushion, and after 4 hours, my buns of steel were more like buns of fire. For my next marathon, I bought this cushion. Yesterday, I abused this cushion with my less dignified side for the last 2 hours of another marathon, and I felt like the baby on the Pampers box, when I was through! It works!!If youre looking for a great cushion for your rower--this does not disaoppoint.I had 2 concerns when I first saw it on Amazon: 1) I was afraid it would slip on the seat, resulting in an unceremonious slide of my undercarriage across the rail; and 2) I was concerned the thickness would put my back at a weird angle as I shimmied around on it. Neither concern has come to fruition the cushion has gripped the seat flawlessly during both hard sprints and long distances. And the thickness compresses nicely so that I dont feel like I'm sitting in a pillow. I recommend it! 5Sweet seat!First off, I'm a 110# female using my C2 erg for cardio endurance training. Not into setting personal bests; just steady rowing doing 2500m at UT1, then another 2500m at UT2, getting in shape for long distance paddling on the water.My erg's hard seat makes it a challenge to erg for more than 30 minutes a session. I tried using a piece of cushion foam cut to the shape of the seat and while that helped somewhat, the foam would slip.Saw the 2K Fit seat mentioned at an indoor rowing site and decided to give it a try. It arrived today. I closely inspected the stitching; it's well tailored and sewn, so I plopped it on my erg seat and started to row.It's comfortable (oh, joy!). No slippage. So comfortable that after I finished my 5m session, I did another 2500m unstrapped, just to work on technique. I've not been able to do a 10m session, but with this seat and a rainy/snowy weekend coming up, I think I'll turn on my Amazon Firestick, select a movie, and give it a go.5Outstanding product and seller, well done!I have to say I am extremely impressed with this product on two levels.First, the product itself is near perfect for what it is designed to be used for. I purchased this to use on a Concept 2 Model D fitted with an EndureRow seat. Rowing Machine Seat - Fits Concept 2 Normally the EndureRow seat does a great job of relieving the pressure in the sitz bones but I have been rowing in excess of 200k per week for the last few weeks and I have had some discomfort I have been trying to mitigate. This product is a little smaller than I thought it was going to be both in size and in thickness. Having said that it is actually much better than I had hoped for. The size is actually perfect for both the stock seat and the EndureRow. There is some textured material on the bottom that provides sufficient tack so the cushion does not move at all even during vigorous sprints. The best part of this cushion is the use of memory foam. I was concerned that this was going to be too thick and create an awkward rowing angle. What is interesting is that the memory foam actually compresses significantly providing a sufficient amount of cushion without being too thick and increasing the seat height too much. I have used this for rows in excess of 3 hours and it has proven to really take the edge off.Second, the seller of this cushion is very proactive. He has reached out to me with three separate emails letting me know how to get a hold of him, explain who he is and a little about the company. He also included a beginners guide to rowing which was thoughtful and would absolutely prove valuable to people new to the sport. I did not reply to any of these emails but I did appreciate them and they are partly the reason I decided to write this review. This seller appears to really care about the product and his customers.Bottom line, this is a great product and I highly recommend it. I have tried many options over the years to help with seat pain when using an erg and this is by far the best product so far. 5
