No way to adjust for YOUR head size!This helmet is not worth anything, that is... unless it fits your head perfectly right out of the box. There is no way to adjust the head circumference, no dial on the back like most helmets, only a piece of elastic. This is UNSAFE since a helmet is supposed to be snug on the head. You might as well not a wear one! Or, hope you don't crash wearing this one. That is... unless it fits your head perfectly, and snuggly. It is really ONE SIZE since it is not adjustable. 2I have a pretty small head (no idea about exact measurementsI have a pretty small head (no idea about exact measurements, but anything "unisex," even adjustable, is always way too big for me) and this is a snug fit! Perfect for me, but I imagine that women with larger heads might not fit this helmet. Description says "Fits head sizes: 54-58 cm" so measure your head with a fabric tape measure if you're having doubts.I really like the helmet. It's comfy, the straps are long enough and stay fit (no need to constantly readjust the length) and the reflectors at the back of the helmet are a nice touch.I took away one star since I saw comments about how the outside shell fell way from the foam inside, and mine definitely was a bit loose and I could see that happening if you store it weirdly. I think they could have used a more "weather friendly" glue. It was also a teensy bit more green than it appears in the pictures, but no star taken away from that since it might just be my screen. But overall, very happy. 4Solid construction, adaptable for a tailight, tight fit.Bell Thalia Helmet - label says "built in the USA with domestic and foreign components". Looks like solid construction (I hope to NEVER have it tested!) and it fits well. I have a 22" head circumference (~56 cm) and its a snug fit. But a helmet that fits snug is better than one that fits sloppy. There's an elastic band at the back that gives about 1/2" more stretch, but that might be uncomfortable on a long ride. It has a space between the straps to allow for a ponytail. I was able to adapt it for my Stupidbright LED taillight. Stupidbright SBR-1 Strap-On LED Rear Bike Tail Light I had to use a rubberband to extend the rubber strap on the light, but that was a minimum of fuss for the extra visibility! I will update this review should something break or fail. 5LOVE the ear straps...Great, comfortable helmet! Fits our older teen (the size of an adult) as well as me (an adult), my tween, etc. I LOVE that the straps by the ears do NOT have to be adjusted... they are set already, no adjusting necessary... just put the helmet on with no more than 1" of your forehead showing, make sure the chinstrap is the right length, click the buckle sides together, & away you go!I will purchase more of these as needed to replace our other helmets as they expire & kids get too big for them, etc. We replace helmets every 5 years, unless they have been dropped.. we have been very blessed not to have a kiddo injured while wearing a helmet, but if we ever do, a helmet will be replaced immediately if it has ever made contact with anything like the ground, a tree, etc. while being worn. Like car seats, helmets should be replaced immediately after a collision, being dropped, etc. 5Too small. The words "age 14+" are misleading.Much smaller than expected. I am short and have what I thought was a small head so I expected this to be large if anything but it barely fits and gives me a headache if I wear it too long. I think it would be the right size for the average 11-12 year old but not an adult... I like the color and I'm too lazy to return it so I'll keep wearing it and just hope it gets looser I guess. Unless your head is very small the "age 14+" thing on the label is a lie. The average teen/adult would not be able to fit this.Update: I gave this to an 11 year old who it fits perfectly, and have ordered a larger one for myself. 3Great helmetReally great quality. I definitely feel safe wearing this while riding my bicycle. The sun blocker broke a little but that's my fault, but it could be less delicate. 5Runs small but doableSo, I measured my head because everyone said in the reviews that it was not adjustable. I measured several times at different angles and my head was exactly 22.5 every time. The helmet is supposed to accommodate 23 so I knew it would be close. It s snug on my head but there is still a hair of stretch to the band in the back even when it is on my head. I think it will relax some as I wear it and if not, one can always remove that elastic strap and get a little more room without compromising the ability to secure it tightly to your head. This is literally my first bike helmet ever and I m surprised how cute it is on! I just expected it to look ridiculous but it s actually decent! 4Great fitI am really frustrated because I have to poop and my 11 year old daughter is on the toilet. She has the butt of a 60 year old man! Does anyone else experience this frustration?Also, I live in a ground floor apartment and I really think my upstairs neighbors wear cement clogs and shower 9 times a day. How is it possible to make so much noise?I just got back from a bike ride and was looking forward to a relaxing, quiet poop. At least my helmet was comfortable with a good fit! 5Beautiful color, terrible fitLove, love, love the emerald color! Unfortunately, it's a non-starter for me because it is way too small for my head and not adjustable for head size. I was definitely mis-led by that. Only the chin strap is adjustable. Do I return it, or try cutting the elastic strap in the back? I came back to Amazon to order the XL, but then remembered this wasn't sold by size; you just gamble on the size and "adjustable" statement. I'm so disappointed! 2Pretty nice helmetHelmet came looking like it has been a returned or something, had some scratches/ dirt on top. But, still works and fits well. Probably wouldn't fit people with bigger heads. Measure yours first! Also, it's more light blue than mint I think 4
