The DMM Shadow HMS Locksafe is a mid to large, lightweight HMS carabiner, ideal for belaying. It features a short gate for maximum opening, a deep/wide top basket that accommodates three clove hitches on ropes under 9.5mm, making it excellent for rigging. The Locksafe gate, which requires specific movements to open, locks automatically, minimizing human error. As the successor to DMM's 25kN Boa, it offers similar versatility in a stronger, more compact, and lighter package.
