Customer Reviews

I like them.I use these on my road bike. I don't miss the crappy padding most road gloves have. I routinely use them on my metric rides, 3-4 times a week and have used them on a century. I am going to order another pair or two soon. I went to full finger gloves on my road bike because of a wreck a few weeks ago. A dog ran out in front of me and I was down on the asphalt. The meat on the ends of several fingers was gone and my fingers throbbed for a week. I said never again, I don't care if it is hot outside. I'd rather replace gloves than feel my fingers. hands throb again for a week. LOL Oh, the dog survived and stays out of the street now. The owners of the dog should be picked up by animal control. 4Work well but not sure about durabilityI wanted some gloves that I didn't need to open and close. These slip on and off well enough and stay put. I was riding some single track and a single branch from a thorn brush hit the backside of the gloves. I attached the image and you can see it really got it good. I expected them to be a little tougher. I just used a lighter to burn the pulled thread to prevent it from unraveling anymore. The gloves have no real padding but I just use them to prevent blisters and help keep my grip. The portion you use to wipe your face could be softer but it is adequate. I would have also liked the grip on the index and middle finger to extend further down. I am being kind of hard on these gloves to try and share what could be a deal-breaker for anyone looking to buy these. Depending on how long they hold up, I could see myself replacing these with another of the same pair when they get too torn up. 4Comfortable, but touch screen fingers don't workI like the way that these gloves fit. I have a hard time finding gloves that are long enough for my fingers that aren't too loose in the palms. These are well designed from a fit aspect. They don't have any padding, but I recently rewrapped my bars with gel tape and gel pads underneath, so I felt like I could get away with gloves without gel pads. They have a thick pad that goes over the heel of your hand that will definitely help prevent injury if you crash. The thumb and first two fingers also have a tacky stripe that helps to grab brake/shift levers. The big downside for these gloves is that they are billed as touch screen compatible. They do not work. I have two pairs of Pearl Izumi gloves that are touch screen compatible and they work just fine. The DND gloves won't work if you're swiping or tapping your phone or watch. They are easy to take on and off, so you can mess with your phone if you stop, but forget about trying to manipulate your phone or smart watch while you're riding. 3Really comfyThe most comfy gloves I've wear, They fits tight, I like the feature that there are not velcro straps that sticks on everything. If there are out there somebody related to the medical ambient, I use 7 1/2 size in surgical gloves and the size M on these ones fits perfect. I'm so happy with the gloves that I bought another pair; same brand, diferent model... and they are great too. 5Saved my skin, ordering more for the future.1 month (~100mile) review: Saved my skin more than once already, would buy again. My palm = 21.5cm I ordered medium, they fit PERFECT. Used with Easton Lock-On Grips (<-highly recommended) and ODI lock on grips, both worked great. They allow for decent air flow/breathing even in summer. On longer hot climbs, yes your hands will sweat up a bit, they're gloves not magic.Recently took a hard fall on my hand (2 sprained finger ligaments and serious bruising) and thankfully the gloves took the brunt of the force without ripping! Aside from the blood stains, they still look like new! I've now put them through the washer ~5 times and they still look great.I love how there are plastic grippy pieces on the thumb (great for shifting!) and index fingers (great for breaking), they are not reflective. You can navigate your phone for taking pictures or zooming around a map, but you have to take the gloves off to text a friend (i.e. using the keyboard). These gloves have very MINIMAL palm padding. On palm area below your thumb, there is some degree of padding where it meets the handlebar, but it is noticeable and appreciated. I used to wear highly palm padded XC fingerless GIRO gloves, but realized I used them because I wanted thicker grips (Easton Lock-ons solved this). I don't get any more (or less) blisters using these less padded gloves compared to my XC-style GIRO gloves. The suede makes up most of the glove is holding up very well & still soft. The "back of the thumb" wipe area could be softer, but works great for cleaning GoPro lenses.I would recommend to a friend, will buy again, will always wear these gloves when riding to protect my skin (literally). 5Great Spring, Summer, Early Fall Mountain Biking GloveI've used these gloves fairly heavily for the last month Mountain Biking and Trikking, and I have to say, they're great gloves for the money. A few notes:1. While I do feel they fit as expected, if you're like me and prefer your gloves to fight very tight and you're toward the lower side of a size, move down one size.2. Some reviews have said these gloves are a bit delicate; I have not had that experience with them. I've essentially abused these gloves the last month and they've held up great and show very little signs of use.3. Grip is ever so slightly on the tack side and so you won't be losing grip with these. All in all, they're not worth retail, but anything 20% or more off and I strongly recommend them. 4So good I bought a second pairI bought a pair of these gloves because I needed something to protect my hands while gravel biking. I had owned other gloves for biking but they always seemed a little loose. These had a nice tight fit but the glove are a little elastic so they have some give. The material is very sturdy and has some grippy portions in case you need to grab something. The palm of the glove appears to be leather. I just got the gloves soaking wet recently, so we will see how they hold up to getting wet then drying off. I have owned these gloves for about 6 months at this point and overall they have held up well. I used them 2-3 time a week. Stitching remains intact and the gloves haven't lost their shape. The best endorsement i can give is that after owning these gloves for only a month, I bought a second pair. They are that good. 5Stitching is in the wrong places causing annoyance.Bought these about a month ago and had plenty of time to use. They hurt my hands. The stitching on the palm side below the thumb is causing an annoying pain when riding. Think of a piece of twig between your palm and the handlebars grip. Yup. Just like that. Also, the soft area around the thumb to wipe sweat off, well, the stitching is in the way. Not sure if there's ever honest product testing but there should be.They do fit snug. They do help hands with grip. They have held up so far. But the stitching is in the wrong places for me to suggest anyone from buying. Look for gloves where there are no stitching on the palm side nor around the thumb area. Two places that are important for comfort. 2Very nice glovesUPDATE: 8/12/2019 Ive only had the gloves about 4 months and they are starting to come apart. I am not hard on them by any means, just average trail riding, no falls or anything like that. The gloves broke in nicely and are comfortable, but i would have liked to have gotten a little longer use out of them before they started coming apart. Im not super upset, because they were affordable and all, just like I said, wished they held up a little better. Ill stitch it back up and see how it does.Got these gloves in today, plan to use them for BMX, and feel they will work out great (Time will tell though). See sturdy, and breathable, should cool nicely for the coming summer. Color is spot on from the advertisement. Very happy with purchase. 3Great GrippageNice scrounge around glove with great grippage and the bike handlebars feel secure and keeps the thorns and branches from scraping your knuckles. Big bonus - I can manipulate my phone with these on thus a quick pic or a tweak on Strava is easy peasy. At first they were a little snug but quickly conformed to the shape of my hand. If you need padding... these are not the gloves for you. If you need extra warmth... these are not the glove for you. 4
