It's stretchy material allowed me to enjoy eating and dancing.4Gorgeous, soft, high quality dressThe color of this dress is a gorgeous mauve. It's not pink at all, which I'm thankful for as it doesn't disappear on my very white skin. I put on this dress, and my husband said, "Now THAT'S the dress". It fits lovely, and I'm a bigger woman. I ordered an XL and am 5'4" and 191 pounds at 6 months pregnant, just to help with sizing. My weight goes into my stomach and face, but I think if I had thicker thighs and rear, the dress wouldn't fit as well. It's definitely not for women who wear bigger than a size 16. It is a nice fit, but it doesn't have a ton of growing room in it. The dress is soft and comfy, and I'm very much looking forward to wearing it to my baby shower. I highly recommend a flowered sash as the one on it flips up under my breasts. The flowered sash I got off Amazon covers that just fine. Baby blue and tan would look fantastic on this mauve color if you're having a boy. I'm having a girl and went for a more subdued pink sash that I like. The details in the lace isn't perfect as there was some fringing on the edges, but it isn't obvious. The fit was overall good but I did get a medium when I would normally get a small in other stores (I am 5' 2" and 29 weeks pregnant) because I was hoping it would help make the bottom more loose from other reviews that I read, which it did help. The material is very stretchy which allows a lot of flexibility for growth. So, my recommendation if you do not want the bottom to be too tight is go up one size. Hello MIZ Women's Baby Shower Floral Lace Maternity Dress (Medium, Navy)4Cheap but functional.This was a one-time wear dress for me.I read the reviews and decided to size up based on how snug the skirt seemed to hug the baby bumps. I m not big on super tight around the numb, I prefer empire waist and flowy skirts. However, I needed a dressier dress QUICKLY for a special occasion.I ordered an XL. I have gained more than I did with my first, I was an 8-10 pre-pregnancy but now I m more like a 12-14 (at six months pregnant). I could ve worn a L, the top and sleeves were big. But it was comfortable.My problem is with the fabric. It s stretchy lace. Don t get your hopes up thinking this is going to look like a dress that comes from a chic department store. It s not bad but it definitely looks like you paid $40 for it.The lace snags SUPER easily. It was snagged in a major way on the back of the skirt but I wore it anyway. Like I said, it was a bit of a dress emergency.Because of the snag and how it fit and the fabric... I wouldn t wear it again. It got me through an event. If you re looking for a singular-use dress, this isn t too bad. I wouldn t recommend it, but if you re desperate it will get you through an event.3A little smallOooh what to say about this dress. The color is beautiful (I got dark navy). As soon as I started to put it on, I knew immediately it d be a little snug based on the tightness of the lace on my arms. I m 6 3 and was around 198lbs before pregnancy. I ve always been able to wear large dresses, size 10-12 depending on the length. I bought an XL in the dress thinking that I d be safe (since it s maternity specific) and that maybe it being short would be an issue, but the length is okay. With an XL, it s definitely more of a body-conforming dress and not as classy as I was hoping for but that s what I get for ordering the day before an event :) But all this being said, it is very comfortable and even though it s snug all on my body, I don t feel like it s difficult to move in. I d recommend sizing up if I were you. I wouldn t have thought to ever have to order a 1X but oh well! I m currently 20 weeks pregnant with second kid. Shipping was fast and no problem.4Perfect on the top, too tight on the bottomThe dress is just gorgeous and the material is very stretchy. I ordered this for my baby shower. I'm 28 weeks, will be almost 30 weeks for the shower, wear a size Medium/8 and ordered the Medium size dress. It was a tiny bit loose in the bust (I'm a B cup), perfect fit in the belly (with plenty more stretch if needed), but WAAAAAYYYY too tight on the bottom. It hugs my entire butt and thighs. My husband says the dress looks very sexy but we both agree that the fit on the bottom is not appropriate for my baby shower. If the dress hung straight down from my waist or butt then it would be perfect! Maybe this would fit someone better that doesn't have a large bum.Other details: I'm 5'8" and the length was on my knee - exactly what I was looking for as everything in maternity stores are above the knee on me and creep up even shorter when I sit down. I ordered the white and the material is a little sheer. Be sure to wear nude undergarments or a slip. The lace is soft and the dress is very comfortable to move around in. It doesn't seem like it would be too hot.3My favorite piece of maternity clothing!This is my favorite piece of maternity clothing that I have owned throughout my entire pregnancy! I wore this for my baby shower in the dusty pink color, and got oodles of compliments on it! I actually wore it for two showers- one at 28 weeks and another at 34 weeks- and it fit great for both! The material is nice and stretchy but sturdy. I would recommend to anyone! I am 5'9" and wear a size 4 when not pregnant and got the size small.5
