Best handicapped assistance ever!I bought this in the hopes that it would help me get up from seats that did not have built-in armrests - like church, certain restaurants, etc. This chair more than met my expectations. It's not especially heavy, although some might find it a bit cumbersome to carry. But the best part is that it is wide enough and strong enough for my 275-lb body. I can sit in in comfortably and use the arm rests to push myself up. I no longer need to rely on someone with a strong arm to pull me up out of the seat! 5Chair worked great a few timesChair worked great a few times. We took it this weekend to a indoor tournament. The back would not lock or stay sitting up. I have on from another seller and have had it for 3 years works great. Very disappointed. 1Love!!!Love this chair so much! I bought this one for my mom and I have the standard wide chair. These are so comfortable. I love the armrests and different reclining angles.Every time we use them, people ask wherected we bought them. My only minor complaint is they are a bit bulky to haul around. I have no problem because it has backpack straps but my mom has a little trouble because she can't sling it all the way around to use both straps due to mobility issues from surgery. Everything else about this chair is perfect. We love it. 5Worth the Price. ComfortableI was hesitant to order this chair because there is no way to secure it to the bleachers. I thought about that for some time, but decided to give it a try. The selling point was the width of the seat is larger than most. Going to outdoor sporting games can be cold and I was concerned about sitting comfortably in a big puffy coat in the smaller chairs. My concerns with this chair proved to be unfounded. Our first outing was a volleyball tournament held inside a gym. This chair was comfortable and easy on the back during the day long tournament. Actually since the bleachers were not full, I could lean this chair back on the seat behind me for added comfort. I don't think that would have been possible with an anchor to hold the chair to the bleacher. People with regular smaller chairs asked about the comfort of this particular one. Even after sitting all day, the padding did not compress to the point I felt like I was sitting on a board. However, the seat is wide enough to add a pillow if you wish. The wider seat, armrests, adjustable back and chair stability make this comfortable chair worth the added cost. 5Heads up infoJust Bigger than expected but my fault. Made very well and have no doubt it would hold up. Something i learned after purchasing, the size is too big to carry to any professional events as they will not allow you to use this much space. Buy this chair! Perfect gift for grandparents or yourself! 5Very large, but comfortable.Bought two of these to take to an outdoor sporting event. The seating at the event is terraced concrete blocks. We've taken several different kinds of stadium seats and pads over the years and none of them were really that comfortable over several hours. This chair, on the other hand, is a winner. The built-in armrests and the ability to recline the chair made all the difference. Plus the extra wide seat made for lots of comfortable room. My wife was able to sit cross-legged in hers if she wanted to. The only awkward part is transporting them to and from your seats. They are pretty large and lay out flat when they are not being used as chairs. They have backpack style straps so you can wear them like a backpack. The awkward part is they are so wide that you feel you are going to run into things or people. I joked with my wife that we looked like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with shells on our backs. But, the all day comfort makes it worth it. These were more expensive than other stadium chairs we've bought, but I think it was worth the investment. I also unfortunately suffer from flat fanny syndrome. I have zero natural cushioning. I have tried several stadium seats over the last couple years, I added pads and pillows. I could get by, but still wasn't great. After using this chair the first night, I could have danced out of that stadium. It's expensive, but if other stadium seats still leave you in pain at the end of the game, then this is for you. It feels really sturdy also.
