Highly recommend. 5Worth itI ordered these for running and they work perfectly. I love the pocket on the side, I keep my inhaler in it while I run and never noticed it was there. It fits my phone too, but I've never put both in the pocket at the same time. There is only one pocket on the right side, it'd be great if there were another pocket on the other side. I had seen some reviewers say that they look kind of shear, I asked my husband to check while I had them on, and he said if they were see-through it was very minimal. I wore them running by themselves on a group run with bright pink underwear and was never notified about anything see through. I imagine if you were to wear black underwear, you wouldn't have to worry about anything.I also saw a review that said the elastic twists within the band, and that is true. The band's width is much wider than the elastic, and for fear of being too tight, I ordered a size up. I could have probably been fine getting a medium rather than large, but I just cut two small holes in the band and ran a drawstring through it. That kept everything in place nicely while running. I've worn one pair on two runs now, and am wearing another pair to work today under a dress. They work great for that as well. Comfortable, breathable, no pinching. They haven't ridden up while running or at work, and I've never had to adjust them.The only thing I don't like about these shorts is they have a shine or glossiness to them. They are spandex material but I wish they were more of a matte black like other running leggings I have, rather than looking silky. All in all, I'd say for this price to get three of these shorts is well worth it. I can live with the glossiness for the benefit of not having thighs rub together while running or wearing a dress. First, these are thin - like I would not wear them out in public as is, because people would see EVERYTHING underneath. Second, the pocket is SUPER SMALL, I could put a car key in it at best.I improvised and decided to wear these under dresses on super hot days (to minimize the thighs from rubbing). Wanted a bike short without padding for spin class and these are perfect. Great length and band at the top holds things in. Did not ride up. 5Good basic shortsThese fit well. I normally wear anywhere from a 12-16, depending on the garment. I ordered the XL and the fit is fine. Lengthwise, they come down to about 6" above my knee on my 33" inseam.The thigh pocket is very handy and is the reason I ordered these shorts. My iPhone 7 is a snug fit in the pocket. The product images show an iPhone plus in the pocket, although I am unsure how one would fit an iPhone Plus into the pocket, (while simultaneously having an actual leg in the shorts) without ripping stitching at the pocket, but it serves my needs well enough.The material is on the thin side, but not a deal breaker. My like-colored undergarments are not visible through the material, although stark white panties may show through if you dig that sort of thing. LolThe waistband is a single strip of elastic which will easily roll in it's channel in the wash, but for the price, I can just straighten the thing before I don the shorts. The elastic is maybe 1 to 1.5 inches wide and the waist area is maybe 3 to 4 inches. If your looking for that classic "muffin top" appearance, these are the shorts for you! The elastic is only attached at the side seam. Totally not what I was expecting but I need shorts for vacation in 2 days so I'm stuck with them. My galaxy 7s does fit in the side pocket snugly. About the only things I like about these shorts is the leg and behind area fit well and the colors. I only gave this product 3 stars because of the fast shipping. My search for comfortable compression shorts for a heavier girl continues..... 3
