It did not 100% eliminate odor, but I work 10hrs a day, 6 days a week on my feet, in work boots. Feet stink, that's life.Though I still use a powder each day, I finally have socks that don't reek of vinegar at the end of the day.I'm 5'8" and the socks have "XL" stitched into the collar. They don't quite make it to my kneecap, but seem to feet my feet (size 10 USMens) just fine.Although I've certainly worn more comfortable socks than these, they are by no means uncomfortable, and still have great wear-ability (10hrs/day remember...) 4IMO overall best sock for both gym and casual useI dislike an open/coarse weave or overly thick gym socks for lack of comfort. I'm in the zone that I don't like overly thick or thin socks and would like to get at least some multi-use for them. Here, what I like about these is that they have a substantial enough weave construction for the gym but are even more easily used as a non-dress daily sock for work/everyday wear. And they are comfortable. Silky feel. What I especially like is that they're closer to my size unlike the one size fits all offered by the vast majority of manufacturers. I purchased two different types of socks from Amazon in the past number of weeks. These were IMO one of the two best affordable socks from all the available ones at the Amazon site. Edit: it has "pilled" or "shredded out" somewhat at the bottom of the socks after months of substantial use, but has not stretched out, is breathable and still comfortable while retaining a silky feel. Although I still use dress socks when necessary as I don't consider these as "dress," if I was only allowed to wear one sock, these would be it. I am a size 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. The medium fit me perfectly without being too loose which I have found to be a problem with more socks than I can count. It has retained the same shape and not stretched out after months of use. Edit: I am seeing some commentary about moisture issues. I have had some issues with previous socks, I have no issues with these. Many times it is an issue with the shoes that they are using, but because they spent so much with them the issue HAD to to be with the socks. 5Great for working outTwo years ago at Christmas my daughter received a pair of these socks. Two weeks ago she said those were her favorite socks for working out. She wears a 9.5 shoes and these med socks fit great. So as good mommy s does, I ordered her this six pack. She was thrilled. 5Extremely Poor Quality & Expensive SocksI always wash my clothes before wearing them. I just washed these socks and look at the amount of fray/pilling. I didn't have the opportunity to wear it, and wouldn't recommend. 1. The positive reviews on this item is false, or 2. The people that submit a positive review never washed their socks.
