Suit is Good Quality, Be Careful with the SizingMy wife ordered this wetsuit and followed the sizing instructions. She is 5' 5.5" and about 130 pounds (she has more muscle than fat and looks like she weights 115 pounds), so she falls right on the border of size 7 and size 9 according to the sizing chart. The item description recommends going with the larger size if a person is on the border of two sizes on the sizing chart, so we ordered size 9. When it arrived, she tried it on and found that it was too big. We are in the process of returning it and having the size 7 sent. The size 9 was "taller" than my wife and probably would have been perfect for a woman who is about 5' 7". The "height" of the suit being much was visible on the legs (fabric was bunched up around the knees), the torso (fabric was bunched up at the waist), and the shoulders (fabric was bunched up above the shoulders, pushing the neckline against her jaw when she looked down). It was also too big around for her at the waist, shoulders, and upper arms. The wetsuit itself arrived on time and was good quality. Since we did not use it in the water, we cannot say how warm it was, etc. Keeping it would have been tolerable, possibly, but we are very thankful that Amazon was willing and able to accept the return and send us the smaller size promptly. 4Good product.This is the first wetsuit I have owned, so I don't have others to compare to. I am a female 5'6", 155 lbs, and the size 9 fit me perfectly. There is a little wiggle room in the arms, but it didn't present an issue. I was able to test it out when I capsized in my kayak. The water was approx 56 degrees and it kept me safely warm. I would recommend this. 5Got a 7Totally worth it! We just spent 5 days at Ginnie Springs, the Ichetuknee River, Bob's River Place, and Gilchrist Blue Springs, where the water temp is always a freezing (to me) 72 degrees! I felt no cold at all. The suit went on and off easily and fit so comfortably. I am 5'3, 127 lbs and measure 36-27-37. I was between a 5 and 7, so I took the reviewers advice to go up if between two sizes and I'm glad I did Hubby is 6'2" 197 lbs, usually wears XL shirts and 34 pants. We ordered him a XXL and it fit just right! 5If you are looking at two sizes, get the bigger one!For those on the tall side of the scale...I'm 6' 7" with an athletic build and first tried the 4XL based on the size chart. I could put it on, but it was pretty snug. Worried that 5XL would be too big, but it's just a much better fit. Still skin tight, but not so restrictive in the hips and shoulders. WAY less of a struggle to get in.My specs vs. size chart: 48" in the chest (5XL says 50-52), 40" waist (5XL is 44-46"), and 46" hips (5XL is 49-51") and 260 lbs (5XL 265-287). 4I feel like I am wearing a sausage casing and need help ...Arrived fast. The women's size 5 fit my wife perfectly she is 5'5, 120 lbs, size 4 jeans. The men's large...not so well. I am 5'7 175 lbs, size 32 jeans and the chart said to go one up to a large. I should of went 2 up to an xl. I feel like I am wearing a sausage casing and need help from the wife to get them over my shoulders and zip the last 6 inches. The is great entertainment for the family. But I will drop about 5lbs, slap on a little baby oil and hopefully when I start using them they will stretch a little. if it don't work it is only $57 for the next size up. 4Not bad at a discount!Read these reviews before choosing the size! Sounds like the men's sizing (s, m,l) is more accurate than the women's sizing in numbers. I'm 5'6, 135lb, ordered a size 7 after reading these reviews. The sleeves and legs are still too long! Not by much, but there's a little bunching up of material around the forearms/knees/top of back. Doesn't make me look like a hot mermaid :). Don't know how it will perform in the water yet, seems pretty warm. Cost only $60 so I think it's worth it! 4A real steal for a budget wet suit... but read about sizing.This wetsuit is very well made, with quality flat stitching, a durable and seam-taped zipper, and nice rubber reinforcement in areas of high stress. I am 6'2", 195 lbs. I have a 34" waist and a 42" chest, and am fairly trim and muscular. I ordered the XL to ensure that it would be tall enough for me. I have a very long torso, so it is a little snug in the groin and neck area, but not so much to be uncomfortable or to limit flexibility. It is plenty long in the arm length and leg length for someone with a wingspan up to around 76", and fits nice and snug in the extremities. The only place that I wish it fit better is in the lumbar area. There is a little bit of dead space that I know will get a bit cold. It is basically impossible to find a wetsuit for someone much over 6' tall that doesn't assume you have a bit of a beer gut and a 38" waist, and I own much pricier wetsuits as well as having tried on many more. The cost to have a custom-tailored wetsuit is just too high for me as a vacation diver. Otherwise, the build quality seems excellent, and the overall fit is B+.My girlfriend's wetsuit came in today and it is nowhere near the size one would expect from the description. She is 5'8.5", 145 lbs., a 26" waist, 38" chest, and 40" hips, and we were hesitant to get the size 9 because she was right at the limit on the size chart. We went with the size 9 anyway, thinking it would be really tight, but it was WAY too big. It fit fine in the hips, butt, and legs, but the entire portion of the wetsuit above the hips way really loose and baggy with a ton of dead space around her torso and scapulas. We are returning this size 9 and ordering a size 7. I would say that the men's sizes so far are much closer to being accurate than the women's.The only negative for this wet suit (besides the poor sizing information) is that the seams are flat stitched. This means that they are very comfortable, but are not totally water-proof, so it will not be as warm as a pricier suit with sealed seams. For the warm-water diving that I do (75+ degrees) it will be just fine, and at this price I should be happy it even exists, much less complain about not having premium seams.If you are going to dive a lot and dive in colder water climates (or make a lot of dives every day, like 5+ tanks) I would recommend going with something with sealed seams and a thicker mm neoprene. Be prepared to spend at least thrice as much to even get into the better seam-sealed 5mm and 7mm suits. 5Great 3mm wetsuit!I wish I could add an extra star. I love this wetsuit. The water in Southern California is cold all year. This suit prolongs my snorkeling. I am 5'5 (well 5'4 3/4) and around 130lbs 34DD and this suit, the size 5, fits like a glove. All the surf brand ones I've tried or had in the past are sooo crazy tight and uncomfortable up top. I can easily take this suit on and off myself and it seals nicely around my neck. It is great for swimming and doesn't make you feel awkward like some suits do. 5Pretty nice for the priceI read a ton of reviews before purchasing this. I could not figure out which size to get. I am 5 2 tall, I am now 163 pounds (Darned holidays!) I cannot believe I am going to post pictures of myself in an outfit that shows everything that we women try to hide, but I do it for the sisterhood! I ordered the women s size 11. It IS tight around the ankles and wrists, but it is supposed to be. I am so short that it does bunch in a few places, but once I adjusted things it was fine. I wore this out to paddle board today. It is January in the California ocean. Water temperatures were reported to be in the high 50 s and the ambient temperature was about 60. I fell in the ocean once, had to get the board out in to the bay past the initial waves breaking at the shore. I was warm the whole time. Definitely suits my purpose. Please excuse my messy garage, all my holiday boxes are in the background. Ugh.Edit: how I chose my size- I measured myself. I particularly wanted to measure my chest and gut and chose the size I thought would closely match me. If you could go either way in a size, choose the smaller size. 5Nice Wetsuit For The Price , But...I bought the WOMENS SIZE 15...to start. I'm not all that tall (5'8"), but weight was a concern (185- with a bit of a "tire" and 40C). It could be long, but I needed to be able to zip it up! It was just WAY too long. First and foremost, look at the height. If the height isn't appropriate, the rest isn't going to fit right. That's the bottom line. Only go an inch below or above your height.So...I returned it and got the SIZE 13. Much better. Still just a tad lengthy for me, but if I went down to the appropriate length, it would have been way too tight around my body. That is the problem for someone with a little girth! lolThe only thing that bothers me (it did with both suits), is there is something funky about the armpits. It reads that it has "super-stretch armpit panels", but it kind of pinches the armpits...I don't really know how else to explain it. It's not comfortable...at all, but the rest of the suit is very comfortable. Overall--for the price, it's a nice wetsuit. I'm glad I bought it. I am hoping that armpit pinch goes away with some use. 4
